Good Morning, Holy Spirit

In camp right now! It’s a thursday and i’m happy that the weekend is coming!

Anyway, been thinking about life recently by aligning every situation towards God and i came to just one conclusion - i am more blessed now having God in my life

Was just flipping through my bible last night, trying to gain some inspiration and a verse just caught my eye!

Hebrews 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but he who built all things are God

Wow, seriously i really love the word ‘All’ in the bible. What a magnificent God i serve and know! The magnitude of my God is something which i fear of and will never understand.

We are building so many things everyday. Build our church, build our characters, build our finances, build our relationship with people, build our momentum, build our household, build our careers and etc. There is just so much to do and without an element of God in every single thing which we are building daily, we will grow weary and lose focus. I have only been walking with God for just three years in my life, and i have realized the importance and power of prayers. Without prayers, it is very hard to experience breakthroughs. Without prayers, it is very hard for God to communicate His thoughts towards you.

2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself

Wow, the word ‘Deny’ never fails to capture and get me thinking. Living life is almost equivalent to participating an amazing race. We get roadblocks and detours at some stages of our lives, that will wear us out and cause us to lose heart. Life gets difficult at times, challenges seem to be too strong for us to overcome, problems look to be too much for us to solve, circumstances seem to be too overwhelming to be in. We partake all these and it is always helpful to put the thought of whatever you go through, it is a training session from God to strengthen you behind the back of your mind. But if we press on and decide to be an overcomer in all problems and continue to run the race will full diligence that is set before us by God, we will obtain His prize. (1 Cor 9:24)

God is always there, whether you feel it or not, it doesn’t matter. Because He cannot deny Himself.

Love giving people small surprises that can make their day. Just bought food for my friend in camp.. nothing significant but this sort of gestures can really show that we care.

The 65 cents coffee is not working today and i just need to blabber some nonsense up here to kick my mind alive again. Love the quietness and simplicity of life on a monday morning. Counting my blessings every single minute, God of my youth i dare not forget.

No linkages at all. Dunga said England needs to learn the art of dribbling if they want to win the most prestigious prize in South Africa. I agree. APEC is ending today. Pastor Tan really rocked & rolled yesterday. PS3 is back and my sister is happy. Judges is cool. Need to repair my fossil watch. Got to resume my driving lessons. Got to grow my cg which is the most important priority. Yada yada..

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

Psalm 91 is a psalm about God’s protection on a believer’s life. As a Christian, you can confidently say: “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust” (91:2). Truly, it is the righteous who know the Lord as their strong tower and refuge. “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day” (91:5).

A great concern of every soldier is a night attack by the enemy. No amount of training could prepare a soldier for the fusillade of enemy arrows hidden by the dark of night. Even the most adept soldier is vulnerable to an arrow shot haphazardly. “Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday” (91:6). Pestilence speaks of sicknesses, diseases, plagues and epidemics. “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you” (91:7). It is recorded that George Washington was seemingly immune to the attacks by the Indians. When General MacArthur was trying to retake the Pacific Islands, he remained calmly erect while others around him fell to the ground as ammunition shells bombarded them.

God wants to protect you from all intentional and unintentional dangers. But the loving care and protection of the Lord are conditional upon three “becauses.”

Firstly, “because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place” (91:9). You have to decide to draw near to God’s presence. When you choose to continuously dwell in the presence of God, you will continuously experience His protection over your life.

Secondly, “because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him” (91:14). This conundrum can be clearly understood from the example of a family. Parents have disavowed their children because of their disobedience and lack of natural affection for them. It is the same with our heavenly Father. He wants His children to love Him, and if you do, you will be guaranteed of His protection.

Thirdly, “because he has known My name, I will set him on high” (91:14p). Obviously, this does not speak of knowing His name in an intellectual capacity, but experientially. And although God is known by many names, possibly the most important name is “the Father.” In one sense, “Father” is an all-encompassing name from which fl ows all the other qualities and names of God. The Father’s ears are always open to the cry of His obedient child: “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him” (91:15). More than that, you will inherit and experience the precious promises of the Father in heaven (91:16).
